In October of 1989, Rick Arndt and his wife Cathy founded Arndt Reporting in their early 1900s home in Belleville, IL. As parents of six boys with a seventh on the way, Rick and Cathy faced challenges in balancing their professional and personal lives. Nevertheless, their attitude and determination prevailed. They truly managed to achieve excellence, both in their profession and in raising their young family.

Recognizing the increasing demand for videographers in the legal field, Rick expanded the company's services and changed the name to Arndt Reporting & Legal Video. Little did he know the fruit his foresight would bear.

As Rick's sons grew, he taught them the family business, and they in turn trained their younger siblings. Today, 12 of his 14 children work in various roles, including court reporters, videographers, trial technicians, office managers, and scopists. They all share a common vision of providing excellent service and upholding integrity in their work.
